I graduated college with 50 more pounds on my short frame than when I started. The idea of going to the gym brought forward anxiety for several reasons. I didn't feel comfortable in the new body I was in, know anything about working out, or have a proper form. Meeting with Abigail last year literally changed everything for me in terms of my weight, my self-esteem, and confidence in working out. She never made me feel awkward about my poor form or lack of knowledge about common exercises which I have experienced with past trainers. As a woman of color, she made me realize shouldn't strive to be someone I was in the past but instead look forward to my best future self. Based on my flexibility, endurance, and experience working out, she crafted a unique workout for me.
